Job Description

My client based in Techno Park Stellenbosch who specializes in the technical and operational management of the national, regional and domestic power grids as well as related industries. They are seeking to employ a graduated Mechatronic or Electronic Engineer in a 12 Month Graduate Program Contract.

Positions available:

Mechatronic or Electronic Engineer in the product engineering team:
The role entails the development of automated test equipment (Python, hardware, mechanical) and new product introduction / industrialisation.

Electronic Engineer in the IOT application engineering team:
The role entails solution development and technical support (ICT - 4G/5G NB-IOT, Bluetooth, communication protocol implementation, energy metering, product qualification and testing).

ICT Engineer in the Devops team:
The role entails the integration, testing and deployment of our ICT systems. IP networking from initial design stage to operation and security protocols. Satellite, GSM, RF Communication technologies. Software application deployment on VM and cloud platforms. Technical support to customers.

Requirements:

• Mechatronic or Electronic Engineering Degree (Partly qualified of fully qualified / graduated)
• Available to start employment 14.01.2024
• Pride in your work. Respect for others. Attention to detail. Finish what you started. Sense of urgency. Resilience. Self-discipline.
• Passion for engineering. It must have been your hobby even before you started your studies.
• Love to solve problems, hands-on and practical. Mr or Ms fix-it at home.
• Must reside in the Stellenbosch area.
