Graduate Mechanical Engineer
Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities: Assist senior engineers with the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and components. Perform technical calculations and analyses to ensure safe and efficient mechanical designs. Participate in problem-solving sessions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines. Attend project meetings and contribute to planning and execution phases. Conduct studies, simulations, and other tasks to support the technical operations team. Stay informed on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering. Follow all health, safety, and company protocols. Carry out additional duties as assigned by management within the companys scope.
Required Qualifications & Skills: Qualified Mechanical Engineer (Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering) Minimum 2 years of experience in the manufacturing, mining or project management industry Experience with Solid Works or CAD, FEAs, tender processes and projects. Solid understanding of mechanical design principles Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Effective communication and teamwork skills. Able to work independently and manage tasks efficiently. Exposure to maintenance or manufacturing environments is advantageous. Strong planning and organizational abilities.
