Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational
- Provide mentoring, guidance and support to Tailings operations
- Monitor and report on technical risks by means of ongoing technical audits
- Facilitate risk assessments on facilities with significant risk
- Develop and agree on risk mitigation measures
- Provide assurance that data submissions are accurate
- Undertake technical assessments of Tailings operations including stability assessments, life assessments water balances, etc.
- Prepare technical audit reports
- Work closely with operations on contracts to ensure that appropriate estimations have been made and accurate costing are submitted for project deliverables and performance in terms of technical input
- Deliver on the value proposition to Fraser Alexander operations as peragreed scope of work.
- Function within Fraser Alexander and client SHEQ standards and procedures
- Suggest improvements and corrective actions where appropriate
- BTech: Civil Engineering or BSc/ BEng: Metallurgy
- Candidate Engineer with ECSA is advantageous.
