Job Description

The Graduate's responsibility within the AM team is assisting the Head of Asset Management and the Junior Asset Manager in the operational running and management of the Asset Management Business Unit. The Graduate will perform the role of assisting the Junior Asset Manager in the operational running managing the Project Companies that Pele Green Energy (PGE) is invested in and assist the Junior Asset Manager to effectively execute the required activities of the Asset Management Business Unit as and when necessary.

Requirements



Key responsibilities:



Review:



Review monthly reporting received from External Partners for Operational Assets. Review monthly reporting received Service Providers for Operational Assets. Review Board packs as and when received for Operational Assets.

Reporting:



Assist with preparation of AM reporting for majority owned Operational Assets and Construction Assets. Assist with compliance required reporting for majority owned Operational Assets and Construction Assets. Assist with Snapshot reporting. Assist with Quarterly DOE reporting. Assist with monthly IPPO reporting. Assist with quarterly and annually NERSA reporting.

Purchasing:



Prepare RPAs for all Procurement. Monitoring receipt of Purchase Orders. Assist with Supplier reconciliations; Interaction with Suppliers to obtain invoices / credit notes / support. Assist with the preparation of payment schedules. Assist with the checking of payment schedules.

Revenue:



Review revenue schedules. Assist with Eskom revenue invoicing.

Compliance:



Assist will all required compliance requests and ad hoc requests.

Meeting Attendance:



Attend required AM meetings, Board meetings etc.

Administrative Support:



Assist with due diligence support. Assist with filing. Assist with ad hoc requests.

Basecamp:



Actively track all activities on Basecamp; Assist with ad hoc requests.

Audits:



Assist with audit requests.

Desired Skills & Qualifications



Relevant BCom Degree in Finance and Accounting. CIMA qualification would be advantageous. Strong analytical, verbal and communication skills Time management skills Detail oriented and organized. Proficiency in MS, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook + Collaborative and able to work with others.
