Minimum Requirements

- Matric (Grade 12) and Equivalent Certificate/Diploma
3 -5 Years as a Storeman/ Stores controller in a chemical / Manufacturing Environment

Computer literate 9 Excel, word, Email) and with ability to easily learn SAP

Technical knowledge, experience and understanding

Stores inventory handling

Good communication skills

Ability to interact at all levels in the organisation and with outside suppliers

Duties & Responsibilities

Physical inspection and counting of all goods delivered to the site

Checking against delivery notes

Purchase orders

Ensure the accuracy in terms of specification, Quality and QTY

Capture all goods received onto SAP System

Receiving of all incoming goods (checking them against delivery notes and purchasing orders ensuring that the quality and quantity comply with the order placed)

Ensure receipts are captured on the SAP timeously and taking into account month end closures

Ensure receipts are captured on a daily basis on excel in (addition to SAP) where applicable

Assist with expediting opening order, stores issues and driver requirements

Assist with regular stock takes of all stock

Maintain and reporting of stock levels on a monthly basis (Assist Store Man)

Assisting in the storage, labelling and monitoring of stock levels

General housekeeping and safety adherence

Timeously and taking into month end closures

Daily capturing of receipts on excel (In addition to SAP) where applicable e.g. Meg

Product specific reports are generated, monitoring the daily deliveries of the goods for month end submissions to production

Monitors stock levels and actions call off of orders, thus assisting store man in maintain stock levels
