Job Summary Our client, a Global Leader in Digital Change Project Management Space is seeking to URGENTLY appoint a dynamic Digital Transformation Project Management Office Manager (PMO Manager) to be based in their Cape Town, South Africa Offices. MAIN PURPOSE FOR THE ROLE : To report directly into the Programme Director. To play a key role in the oversight and delivery of change projects across the business. To be accountable for working with internal client teams and support functions, to coordinate change projects and ensure they deliver on time, and with the right quality, and to the committed benefits that will drive strategic value to their portfolio of digital transformation business. To lead and mentor a professional team and be responsible for the quality and timeliness of projects deliverables. KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS : Ability to meet tight deadlines and to help others to do the same is ESSENTIAL. Ability to work on own initiative ESSENTIAL. Be a confident and experienced presenter to senior audiences. Be highly organised and able to work on multiple initiatives at the same time. Experience in using JIRA. Experience of agile delivery approach. Experience of using project management software such as MS Project. Have highly honed stakeholder management skills demonstrated across diverse teams. Have in-depth understanding of project life cycle and the management of risks, issues, and dependencies. Be able to demonstrate extensive and intensive project leader experience, ideally in a PMO or Project Leader role. Possess excellent interpersonal mentoring skills. Possess the strategic thinking acumen which will demonstrate your highly developed skills and confidence to see the bigger picture and understand the risks, issues, and dependencies across the full programme of change. Strong communication (both written and verbal) experience of MS PowerPoint. Strong project management skills with the ability to work as part of a team to deliver a project. KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Working with stakeholders and SMEs to understand risks, issues, and dependencies. Provide overall programme management leadership to deliver work stream outputs. Prioritisation of resource and tasks to ensure agreed project KPIs are achieved. Develop processes to improve project and change governance. Coordinate and produce project status reports and documentation. Coordinate and consolidate project plans across multiple workstreams. Build strong working relationships for effective collaboration. Attend and drive forward relevant project meetings and steering boards.
