Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and developing a high-performing, multifunctional team
• Driving quality standards through daily copy editing and feedback
• Content Acquisition & Commissioning
• Streamlining and scaling output
• Maintaining a large inventory of restaurant, hotel and retail copy, designing a scalable plan to keep this up-to-date
• Partnering with teams outside of content to strengthen our online portfolio
• Leading content delivery on new account launches throughout the year
• Content Strategy Development
• Market Analysis & Trend Forecasting to drive decisions and capitalize on market opportunities

Requirements:

• Excellent command of written and spoken English, with strong copyediting and proofreading skills.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in editorial, content strategy, acquisition, or related roles within the media, publishing, or content creation industry.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in managerial/supervisory role leading a Team, with collaborative leadership skills
• A bachelor's degree or relevant tertiary qualification
• Experience in managing and improving editorial processes in a high-speed, high-volume editorial workplace
• Record of success in editorial leadership, product management, and digital media or publishing. Knowledge and expertise in luxury travel, tourism or luxury brands of advantage but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Excellent aptitude for workflow optimization and production management
• Experience working with large inventories of content a bonus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Cultural sensitivity and the ability to navigate diverse cultural landscapes while developing content strategies for global audiences.
