Job Description
Job Summary Qualifications: o Mechanical or Electrical University Degree/ National Diploma/ NHD (T4/S4) or BTech with a minimum of 5 years' post qualification experience on the maintenance of equipment required for underground mining. or o N3 Certificate, Mechanical or Electrical Trade Certificate with a minimum of 10 years' experience on the maintenance of equipment required for underground mining; plus Role-specific knowledge: o Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience as a Senior Foreman or GES or relevant o Minimum of 5 years' experience on Underground fixed plant (Winders and Shafts; BAC/Fridge Plant; Ventilation Fans; Ground and Water handling) related maintenance activities o Technical Knowledge in maintenance and management of Gyratory Crushers, Stacker Reclaimer, Dewatering Multistage Pumps, Slurry Pumps, and Conveyor belts systems o Contract management experience and working knowledge of repair and services contracts o Previous Experience on engineering governance in SAP system. Additional information o Code B (08) Driver's License o Successfully obtained a Medical Fitness certificate for underground Background Checks Successful candidates will be required to complete background screening which may include a criminal check, validation of qualifications and medicals fitness.
