Position overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Worker to assist in our food production facility. The role involves supporting the production team with day-to-day operations, maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility, and ensuring all hygiene and safety standards are met.
This is a part-time, on-call position, and you will be contacted to work as needed based on production volumes.
Key responsibilities
Assist in daily food production tasks, including packing, labeling, and preparing ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all production and work areas.
Follow strict food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Clean production equipment, tools, and work surfaces as required.
Assist with loading and offloading raw materials and finished goods.
Adhere to company policies and health & safety standards.
Perform any other general duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or cleaning (advantageous but not required).
Must have a cellphone with WhatsApp for communication regarding shifts.
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately.
Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Willingness to work on-call and adjust to changing production schedules.
Availability for occasional weekend or public holiday shifts if required by production demands.
Work schedule
This is a part-time, on-call position.
Work will be scheduled based on production volumes and operational needs.
No regular weekend or public holiday work, unless production requires it.
