Responsibilities

• Manage, oversee and coordinate Plant efficiencies to ensure efficiencies are maximized, and that daily production plans are completed as well as maintaining quality standards
• Manage the on-time ordering and receiving of raw materials and maintain an accurate stock control system
• Direct and control all business activities relating to the manufacturing site, from sourcing and managing raw materials through to the manufacturing process, quality control, warehousing, and final distribution to the Company's customer base
• Develop annual site budgets and take responsibility/accountability for the management and control of all site costs
• Plan and direct all site activities through effective engagement and planning with your management team
• Overall responsibility for managing plant, premises and building facilities, and continuous improvement through lean initiatives, as well as improving plant efficiencies
• Manage on-time delivery of planned orders/loads, and ensure subcontractors are managed according to their agreed SLA's
• Manage outstanding PODxe2x80x99s within 60 days to approved level
• Manage maintenance infrastructure and ensure a preventative maintenance plan is in place and to keep machine downtime to less than 2% of operating hours
• Manage the security infrastructure of the business, safety of staff, Plant, and assets
• Lead the operational human capital interventions of the assigned business
• Take responsibility for related Admin, HR, IR, Maintenance, Asset management, Risk management, Facilities management, Health and Safety, as well as site security

• Relevant Diploma / NQF level 6
• Minimum 10 years' relevant working experience within a manufacturing environment
• Proficient on MS Office Suite
