General Sales Assistant for Matriculants
Position: General Sales Assistant
Location: Retail store in Claremont
:
- Assisting customers with their inquiries and purchases
- Providing excellent customer service at all times
- Maintaining a tidy and organized store environment
- Ensuring products are displayed neatly and attractively
- Processing transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assisting with stock replenishment and inventory management
- Promoting sales and special offers to customers
- Collaborating with team members to achieve sales targets
Requirements:
- Must have completed Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Basic math skills for processing transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed
