The main purpose of this job is to ensure that returned faulty stock is repaired efficiently and effectively in order to be able to meet SLA requirements set by the vendor and by Rectron, and ultimately ensure customer satisfaction.
Outputs and Responsibilities
Repair/quote faulty products or equipment accurately and timeously
Inform the customer of any additional costs or requirements needed in order to fully repair the unit. This may include recommendations of add on products
Meet all vendor KPI's & SLA's requirements on a daily basis.
Ensure effective customer communication
Execute Rectron standards of excellence in all work completed
Escalate problematic issues to the Supervisor
Other duties as specified by your line manager
General admin and housekeeping
Education/Qualification
Matric
Relevant technical certification and or training (mobile & electronic)
3-5 years repairing experience within workshop environment
Skills and Competencies
Strong technical background
Attention to detail
Problem Solving
Understanding of gross technical problems
Strong ability to work according to a timeline and schedule
Ability to work under pressure
Well disciplined' individual
Ability to effectively diagnose failures ensuring a low return rate
Accountabilities
Adhere to high level standards at Rectron
Complete all jobs within the given time period
Communicate problems to management
Ensuring proper parts are ordered thus minimizing the financial cost/risk to the company
Achieve exceptional ratings in client services
