Key Responsibilities:

• Drive revenue growth by managing pricing strategies, margins, and discounts.
• Lead and develop the Sales Team to ensure adherence to sales principles and achievement of performance targets.
• Monitor expenditure within flexible budgets, taking corrective action to meet income and profitability goals.
• Manage end-to-end stock processes: oversee daily receiving, cycle counts, and stock accuracy.
• Ensure prompt, complete deliveries that meet customer turnaround expectations.
• Monitor courier delivery performance and uphold service quality standards.
• Oversee internal sales and call centre teams, ensuring customer complaints and queries are resolved within agreed service levels.
• Ensure warehouse operations align with standard operating procedures.
• Cultivate strong customer relationships by promptly resolving logistics, pricing, returns, and repair issues.
• Encourage customer use of digital platforms to increase online transactions and engagement.
• Manage workforce planning, including headcount, leave, absenteeism, and overtime allocation.
• Oversee employee training and development, ensuring alignment with performance goals and KPIs.

Candidate Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12) is essential.
• A 3-year tertiary qualification in Business Management or Commerce.
• 8xe2x80x9310 years of experience in senior sales and operations management.
• 2xe2x80x934 years of hands-on experience in stock control or receiving, ideally within warehouse, retail, or distribution environments.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., Pastel, SAP, Syspro or similar).
• Computer literacy with strong Microsoft Excel and data entry capabilities.
• Solid understanding of inventory control principles and warehouse operations.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused mindset.
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
