Job Summary
Hire Resolve's client is a great mining company, which is seeking the expertise of a General Manager to join their team in Middelburg, Mpumalanga.
Responsibilities:
- Heading up of the underground mining division
- Extensive experience in contracting to blue chip clients
- Manage mining contracts profitably
- Meet planned/budgeted margins
- Effectively manage underground mining contract(s)
- Meet production profiles
- Manage and maintain stable client relationships
- Professional promotion of the company brand
- Actively promoting the company core values and guidelines for success
- Actively supporting strategic objectives
- Budget Control
- Accountability for Performance Management
- Accountability for Safety management
- Grade 12
- Degree in Mining Engineering
- Mine Managers Certificate of Competency
- Blasting Certificate for Underground Scheduled Mines
- 15 - 20 years' experience in an underground mining environment
- Minimum 10 years at senior management level
- Salary: R1.8M/yr - R2M/yr, salary negotiable
- Training and Development
