The General Manager will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the guest house, ensuring smooth operations, consistent service standards, and guest satisfaction. Located conveniently along the N7 highway , the property serves as a popular stopover between Cape Town and Namibia, requiring a manager who is operationally strong and guest-focused.



Key responsibilities include staff leadership and discipline, guest relations, reservations oversight, coordination of housekeeping and maintenance, basic financial controls, and ensuring the property is well presented at all times. This is a hands-on role requiring presence, decisiveness, and accountability.



The remuneration package includes a cash component of R13,000 - R15,000 , a private bachelor's flat with all utilities included , access to a lifestyle centre and gym , use of a vehicle for local travel , and a cell phone allowance . This makes the role well suited to a candidate seeking a stable, live-in management position.



Proven experience as a General Manager or senior manager within a guest house or small hotel



Strong, confident leadership style with authority and presence



Stable employment history (no job hoppers) and fully referenceable



35+ years of age



Afrikaans language skills advantageous



Hands-on, reliable, and operationally focused
