is seeking a visionary

General Manager

to steer our organisation into its next chapter of impact and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

Set and execute the organisation's vision and strategy in alignment with our mission.

Team Empowerment:

Lead by example, foster a culture of trust and accountability, and avoid micromanagement.

Fundraising & Partnerships:

Develop and implement innovative fundraising strategies; build relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners.

Marketing & Outreach:

Champion the AACL brand, increase public awareness, and drive community engagement.

Operational Oversight:

Ensure efficient day-to-day operations across veterinary services, shelter management, and adoption programs.

Financial Stewardship:

Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and reporting with sound business acumen.

Governance & Compliance:

Work closely with the Board to ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and organisational standards.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Proven leadership experience in business, non-profit, or social enterprise environments. Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Demonstrated success in fundraising, marketing, or business development. Passion for animal welfare and community service. Ability to manage diverse teams and complex operations. Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or related field (preferred). Experience in fundraising, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership. Non-profit experience is a plus but not required.
