Job Summary Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills: o National Diploma or National Technical (N6) certificate in Mechanical or Electrical. o Section 26 Recognised / Equivalent Trade Certificate in Diesel Mechanic or Equivalent o Proof of formal supervisory training in Planning, Leading, Organising and Control o MS Office proficient [Word, Excel& MS Projects-ability to plan & schedule] Suitable candidates must have the following work experience: o At least 10 years practical experience in the mining industry, appointed in a legal position, of which 5 years appointed as a GES in a legal position. o At least 5 years' experience in a Foreman supervisory level capacity. o At least 5 years practical experience on Underground TMM (LHDs, Drill Rigs, Bolters, Agicars, Shotcreter, Telehandler Charging units, etc). o Experience in writing procedures and conducting baseline and issues-based risk assessment. o Extensive Knowledge of Safety Management systems. o Knowledge of Maintenance Management Systems, Including CMMS such as JDE. o Knowledge of Reliability Engineering Strategies (Condition Monitoring, Defect Elimination, etc). o Knowledge of Cost Management Systems.
