Pitsana Mills is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented General Administrator to join our fast-paced team. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who thrives in an administrative environment and is passionate about accuracy and administrative precision.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform all general administrative duties across departments
Assist with vehicle administration including licensing, registration, and fleet paperwork
Management, monitoring, and follow-up of vehicles, as well as updating the Netstar tracking system, including reporting back to management.
Perform accurate data capturing, filing, and record management
Handle basic telephone responsibilities, including answering and directing calls in a professional and courteous manner
Regular use of Microsoft Excel and Word - MS Office proficiency is essential
Perform Daily Reporting Functions - Accurately compile and submit daily reports, ensuring timely communication of key data to management for informed decision-making, etc.
Assist with Stock Control - Provide support with stock control tasks such as reading in stock, balancing container counts, and identifying discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy, etc.
Liaise with clients and service providers professionally in both Afrikaans and English
Assist with financial administrative tasks (invoicing, goods return notes, reconciliations, basic bookkeeping, debtors, creditors etc.)
Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
Administration support: processing orders, managing client communications, updating CRM systems, generating quotes/invoices etc.
Minimum Requirements:
Matric (Grade 12)
Fully bilingual - Afrikaans & English (written and spoken)
Excellent computer skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word a must)
Strong numerical skills and accuracy with figures/data
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to multitask, work independently and handle pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Minimum of 5 to 8 years' experience in an administrative position.
Advantageous:
Tertiary qualification in Administration, Finance, or related field
Previous experience in finance, vehicle admin and/or Netstar/fleet management
Knowledge of financial processes, exposure to bookkeeping systems, invoicing, reconciliations etc.
