FUNDRAISER AT THE GAUTENG FUNDRAISING OFFICE
This position will suit a mature responsible person who is prepared to work according to the Girls and Boys Town South Africa values.
This position carries a competitive basic salary. It is based at the Gauteng Regional Fundraising Office, Auckland Park, Johannesburg.
Duties of the Fundraiser

• Face to Face appointments with existing donors
• Initiate and build relationships with existing donors (networking, events)
• Produce a targeted number of fundraising proposals per month to existing donors
• Service an existing donor portfolio
• Meet donor feedback requirements on how donations were applied
• Increase existing debit order donations
• Retain existing donors and attempt at increasing their donations
• Reinstate the donations of donors that gave in the past
• Manage information and record the profile and fundraising activity of exisitng donors on the database
• Raise funds from existing donors as per targets agreed upon

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Fundraising, sales or marketing qualification will be an advantage
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English

Experience Required

• Previous selling or fundraising experience
• Experience in a Call Centre environment will be an advantage
• At least 5 years work experience in Sales and Fundraising
• A valid driver's license
• Computer literate
