Fund Accountant (Investment Finance) Pretoria Permanent
Salary: R499,669.00pa to R971,974.00pa (Based on Experience)
Purpose of the role:
The Fund Accountant is a member of the Investment Finance Unlisted division,
responsible for delivering strategic financial support to the unlisted investment teams.
Minimum Requirements and Experience:
- Relevant Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent
- An honours Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent
- Completion of SAICA Articles (Essential)
- CA(SA)/CGMA (Essential)
- 3+ years of relevant working experience in:
- Fund accounting
- Investment finance
- Asset management or financial services environment
- Asset management industry knowledge
- Accounting standards knowledge (IFRS and GRAP)
- Accounting for and processing of all transactions and adjustments as required in the Investment Finance (Unlisted) area.
- Preparation of Financial statements
- Account for all corporate actions.
- Maintain and monitor valuations data on finance system.
- Prepare internal and external client reporting packs.
- Facilitate internal and external requests.
- Resolving of client queries within the Service Level Agreement timelines
- Provide accounting implications of unlisted investment deals.
