At least 7-10 years of relevant experience
Deep understanding of functional safety standards, particularly ISO 26262, and their application in EV contexts
Proficient in safety analysis techniques like FMEA, FTA, and HARA
Knowledgeable about EV architecture, propulsion systems, and battery tech
Skilled in safety-related tools: fault injectors, safety analysis, and management tools for EV development
Strong problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail
Excellent communication, collaboration, and cross-functional teamwork
Willingness to travel abroad as needed
Qualification:
Bachelors or masters degree in electrical engineering
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
