Qualifications / Experience

• IT Degree or relevant qualification
• 1-5 years in a Developer/Engineer role
• Security, Cloud, or Enterprise Architecture certifications (advantageous)

Front End: Angular
Back End: Jakarta EE
Application Servers: Payara Server / Glassfish (Quarkus, Payara Micro optional)
Languages: Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, SQL
Databases: Oracle, Postgres (JDBC + ORM frameworks)
Interfaces: REST, Kafka, MQ
Unit Test Frameworks: JUnit, Karma, Jasmine
Monitoring Tools: AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana
Agile Working Model (AWM) responsibilities
Advantageous Skills Requirements
Build & Deployment: CI/CD, Git, Maven, Sonar, GitHub Actions, Nexus, Containerisation
Cloud & Infrastructure as Code: Azure, Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
Container management: Docker, Kubernetes
Incident & Problem Management: ServiceNow / ITSM tools
Logging & Alerting: ELK, Splunk, Nagios, Kibana
Testing: Selenium, Rest Assured, Grafana K6
Security: Static, interactive, dynamic testing tools
Additional Languages: Python, PySpark, HCL, PL/SQL
Data Integration: Informatica, AWS Glue

Role Requirements
Collaborate within feature teams to analyse, design, develop, and test solutions
Develop, deploy, and operate cross-platform applications (Java & frameworks)
Manage application dependencies across the full stack
Implement automated test cases to meet business objectives
Create & maintain deployment pipelines to ensure agility and quality
Prepare technical documentation and operating procedures
Support operational excellence and resolve escalated incidents
Upgrade applications, tools, and features to modern standards
Deliver cloud-native and on-prem solutions with world-class uptime
Plan and execute work in line with Agile/DevOps delivery models
Fulfil additional responsibilities in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
