TEAM: TSARA Platform Team
Project Information Join our TSARA platform team as an expert-level Full Stack Developer where you'll lead technical initiatives and mentor junior team members.
You'll be responsible for developing new user-facing features with a focus on responsive design, collaborating with international teams, and providing technical leadership in a cutting-edge automotive technology environment.
Qualifications/Experience

• Relevant IT / Business Degree or equivalent experience (Required)
• 7+ years of experience in fullstack development (Required)
• Proven experience with Java and Angular (Required)
• South African citizens/residents preferred; valid work permit holders considered
• Willing and able to travel internationally and work with international teams

Essential Skills Requirements Must have experience/understanding:

• Profound knowledge and expert-level experience in Java and Angular and related technologies (Mandatory)
• Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+) (Mandatory)
• Experience with RESTful services and APIs (Mandatory)
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GitHub (Mandatory)
• Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Grunt, Gulp.js, and Angular CLI (Mandatory)
• Technology Stack: JAVA/Quarkus, JavaScript + JS UI frameworks (ReactJS / Angular, NodeJS), SQL (Postgres); Java and Angular is a must (Mandatory)
• CI/CD (Github & Github actions) (Mandatory)
• Cloud technologies (e.g., AWS): network, security groups, cross-account communication, ECS, Fargate, RDS, load balancers, Lambda, X-Ray, API Gateway (Mandatory)
• Micro Services (Mandatory)
• Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

• Automated Testing (Jasmine/Karma/Selenium/Cucumber/Wire Mock)

• Understanding ESB Integration Skill (IIB, Tibco, Oracle fusion, MQS, Messaging concepts)
• Working with Queues, Flows, Execution Groups, Kafka
• Docker/AWS

• Jira, Confluence, ITSM.Next
• Experience of Group and our Agile Working Model (AWM)
• German language skills

Role Requirements

• Leadership & Mentorship: Mentorship and guidance of more junior team members
• International Collaboration: Willing and able to travel internationally and work with international teams
• Feature Development: Develop new user-facing features with a focus on responsive design
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Technical Guidance: Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members
• Operations Support: Willingness to take over 24/7 Operations Support according to schedule
• Business Analysis: Understand the business requirements, prepare AS-IS, and TO-BE documents, and get sign-off from users for functional and/or technical design documents
• Solution Design: Proactively propose solutions to improve the support of (new) business processes
• Configuration Management: Execute the required changes through configuration
• Integration Management: Interact with consultants of other modules for Integration requirements
• Testing & Documentation: Prepare test data and documentation, conduct Unit tests, Regression tests, System Integration security tests including recording of results and change management (transport) activities
• Training & Support: Prepare User manuals and conduct training to business process owners
• Additional Responsibilities: Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
