QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

• Relevant IT Degree / Diploma / equivalent work experience
• Broad overall IT infrastructure and application understanding
• 4+ years' experience with AWS & Azure Cloud, preferred with relevant certifications
• 4+ years' experience as a Software Engineer in frontend development with Angular

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• At least 4 years' worth of experience in frontend development with UI frameworks,

especially with Angular (version 16 or higher). * Experience in HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript

• At least 4 years' worth of experience in AWS or Azure Monitoring
• At least 4 years knowledge and experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery(e.g., GitHub, Terraform, Terragrunt)
• Experience in task automation
• Experience in Python development
• Experience in the development of dashboards, health monitors & alerts
• Experience in report creation based on SQL-databases and other data sources
• Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS

• Experience with Agile Working methods (e.g. Scrum)
• Experience with Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus
• Experience with restful APIs
• Familiarity with Microservices, Azure Serverless Functions, AWS lambda, Cloud Architectures and Container Architectures e.g., Docker
• Proficiency with Kafka or other streaming platforms or messaging systems e.g., MQTT
• ITIL process knowledge and work experience (advantageous)
• Excellent communication skills and team-oriented work behaviour in a distributed team.
• Speaking German (advantageous).
• Strong ability to understand and interpret Business needs and requirements with the ability to move concepts through to proposal and finally successful implementation.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and written) with both technical and non-technical colleagues / users.
• Proficient in conducting user research in foreign markets
• Willing to deal with (talk to) our customers. Language barriers for foreign customers might exist.
• Ability to work as part of a team, inter dependant as well as independently and submit deliverables on time and in excellent quality.
• Self-Starter & above-board work ethics this is of utmost importance for this role.
• Flexibility to take up different tasks in the team.
• Ability and willingness to coach and give training to fellow colleagues and users when required.
• Willing and able to travel, for up to 2 weeks at a time (international)..

ROLE:

• Development of an Angular based Portal to support GROUP application teams with relevant Cloud related information
• AWS & Azure Health Monitoring
• Actively taking part in all regular Scrum ceremonies
• Contribute to refinement of user stories
• Liaise with stakeholders and team members
• Pro-active knowledge sharing within own and other teams
• Actively making proposals and/or developing prototypes
• Provide support for existing solutions (DevOps)
• Provide 7x24 standby support for Cloud related incidents (currently one week per month, rotation between team members)
