Qualifications / Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in full stack development
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions
• Experience with Supply Chain Execution systems advantageous
• Agile working methodology experience (Mandatory)
• Strong collaboration and team development experience

Essential Skills Requirements

• Proficiency in Java programming language (JAVA/Springboot)
• Strong experience with Angular framework
• Expertise in SQL database management (Oracle & Postgres)
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services and infrastructure
• Proficient in TypeScript and JavaScript
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Jasmine, Karma, Selenium, Cucumber, and Wire Mock
• Understanding of REST services
• Experience with OData and GraphQL
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools
• Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

Advantageous Skills Requirements

• German language skills will be advantageous
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Knowledge of security best practices in software development
• Familiarity with DevOps practices
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization
• Ability to mentor junior developers
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Cloud optimization and cost management
• Container orchestration expertise

Role Requirements

• Understand the business requirements, preparing AS-IS and TO-BE documents and get sign-off from users for functional and/or technical design document(s)
• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java, Angular, and SQL
• Implement AWS cloud solutions to enhance application performance and scalability
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in TypeScript and JavaScript
• Develop automated tests using Jasmine, Karma, Selenium, Cucumber, and Wire Mock
• Build and consume RESTful services, OData, and GraphQL APIs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues
• Ensure application security and data protection
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Mentor and guide junior developers in best practices
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups
• Handle deployments and releases with zero-downtime strategies
• Engage in sprint planning and monitoring activities
• Maintain clear stakeholder communication
• Document technical specifications and architectural decisions
• Collaborate effectively with developers, operations teams, and stakeholders
• Analyze and implement business requirement specifications
• Review system proposals and provide expert technical input and recommendations
• Ensure seamless handover capabilities with minimal transition requirements
• Maintain compliance and adherence to standards for audit and quality assurance
• Update user stories in JIRA and maintain documentation in Confluence
• Prepare comprehensive system/functional documentation and user manuals
• Escalate deviations, blockers, and impediments to relevant leadership
• Additional responsibilities as per AWM Charter or department manager direction
