Supports the eCommerce Operations Lead and manages the day to day operations of the entire order fulfillment process, from order placement to customer delivery, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities include driving efficiency and effectiveness in the entire order fulfillment and returns process - managing and optimizing the last mile and back. This includes logistics, warehousing, inventory management, packaging and returns/ claims management. Strong commercial, strategic and logistical eCommerce specialist.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Fulfillment process management
+ Review and optimise fulfilment process
+ Review and report on processed orders - system to work orders
+ Grow fulfillment competency as more departments are added
+ Constantly review best in trade, trends and technology
Supplier management
+ Manage day to day SLA agreements and ensure delivery
+ Build relationships with 3rd party suppliers
Inventory management
+ Planning stock levels /inventory cross functional teams
+ Ensure accurate picking and packing from the warehouse
+ Align dark store to delivery partners and optimise
Customer service integration
+ Support customer contact centre to resolve queries and issues
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Post matric qualification (e.g. Business administration, Office administration)
Previous co-ordinating or administrative, operations, or similar roles are typically required.
At least 2 years previous experience in a retail environment or eCommerce environment preferred
Strong computer skills working in a Google Suite environment
Financial proficiency with uploading quotes and purchase orders on SAP
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to multitask and manage priorities
Ability to identify issues and resolve those quickly
Meticulous attention to detail is required
Ability to manage tasks correctly
Solid relationship management skills with the ability to integrate cross functionally
Proactive and self-motivated person
Strong customer and stakeholder management skills
