Duties:

• Lead the creation and maintenance of high-performing, responsive user interfaces using Angular, React, and React Native.
• Ensure top-tier performance optimisation for applications across devices and browsers with a focus on speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to deliver pixel-perfect, visually consistent interfaces that engage users from the first click.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that stands the test of time and supports future growth.
• Own troubleshooting and debugging, resolving issues quickly to ensure a flawless user experience.
• Integrate front-end systems seamlessly with back-end APIs and services.
• Take an active role in Agile ceremonies, contributing to project planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
• Lead code reviews and share your expertise with the team, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Document front-end architecture, design patterns, and workflows for clear knowledge sharing.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Front-end development certifications (e.g., React, Angular) are a plus, but experience speaks louder.

Experience:

• 2 to 4 years of hands-on front-end development experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, with deep expertise in Angular, React, and React Native.
• Experience with state management solutions such as Redux or Context API
• Comfortable using front-end testing frameworks like Jest or Cypress.
• Proven ability to integrate front-end systems with RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of Agile software development practices.
• Bonus: Experience in mobile app development with React Native and Progressive Web Apps (PWAs).

Skills & Competencies:

• Expertise in building responsive, high-performance UIs across a wide range of devices and browsers.
• Mastery of JavaScript and modern front-end libraries (Angular, React).
• Comfortable with build tools like Webpack or Babel, ensuring smooth workflows.
• Proficient in using Git for version control and working with CI/CD pipelines.
• A deep understanding of UI/UX principles, with an eye for design that converts users.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence outcomes.
• A proactive approach to learning, keeping up with the latest trends in front-end development.
