Exciting Opportunity: Frontend Application Developer (JavaScript) - Hybrid Role in Somerset West!
We're on the lookout for a skilled Frontend Application Developer (JavaScript) to design, maintain, and enhance web frontends, portals, and custom CMS platforms.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain and develop existing web platforms:
- Maintain and develop existing Angular-based web platforms
- Prioritise and address bugs and features
- Liaises with internal stakeholders on requirements and specifications for fixes and features
- Prototype and improve UI and UX with stakeholders
- Perform user acceptance testing
- Update internal documentation to match changes and new features
- Produce mock-ups and prototypes for new required web frontends
- Liaise internally to scope work and design architecture
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand requirements
- Develop new systems
- Perform user acceptance testing
- Create internal documents for deploying and configuring new apps
- Create internal documents for briefing internal stakeholders on operating the new apps
- 4+ Years of development experience
- TypeScript and JavaScript 6+
- Angular 16+
- Angular Material 16+
- NPM
- HTML and CSS
- Experience with HTTP / JSON API best practices
- Git
- PostgreSQL or other databases
- NodeJS
- PHP development
- Data visualization
- Linux experience
- Experience working with video codecs
