Position Overview

We are seeking a

professional, well-presented, and experienced Front of House team member

to join our restaurant in

Sandton

. The successful candidate will receive initial training at an

established and popular restaurant in the Oaklands area

, ensuring alignment with high service standards, customer experience expectations, and operational procedures.

This role is ideal for a confident, customer-focused individual with strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist guests in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner Deliver excellent table service and ensure a high-quality dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff Maintain strong knowledge of the menu, specials, and restaurant offerings Handle customer enquiries, requests, and concerns professionally Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all front-of-house areas Operate POS systems and handle payments accurately (where applicable) Adhere to company service standards, policies, and procedures Work collaboratively with management and team members

Minimum Requirements

Minimum of

2 years' proven experience

in a restaurant or hospitality environment

Fluent in English

, with excellent verbal communication and clear spoken ability Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
