is looking for a Front of House Cafe Supervisor to assist the Cafe Manager to organize and

run the cafe's activities

in accordance with company's standards. This position requires weekend work. We are looking for a hard worker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and who works well in a management team.

The Front of House Cafe Supervisor is responsible for the

day-to-day functions

of the cafe's food & beverage sections.

Duties:

Inspect Open & Close restaurant in accordance with daily checklists Manage Daily Operations and POS functions Overseeing stock control, check Inventory and order FOH Supplies Ensuring proper compliance with cash control procedures, reconciliations and performing related daily accounting and administrative reporting as required Maintaining excellent customer and public relations and addressing complaints Responsible for helping the cafe meet service, sales, and profit objectives Supervising and directing associates in daily work activities Ensuring proper training of employees

Requirements:

At least 2 - 3 years' experience in a cafe or restaurant FOH position Solid financial and analytical acumen with experience in budgeting and reporting Experience with POS systems such as GAAP and PILOT. Experience with Cafe/Restaurant administration & restaurant opening and closing procedures required. Ability to multitask, and change priorities constantly as needed in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated with a high degree of integrity, honesty and ethics; Self-starter, flexible, and able to work independently Exceptional organizational skills Good communication skills for dealing with diverse staff

Pay: R12000,00 - R15000,00 per month
