Our client, a renowned premium restaurant in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, is seeking a Front of House Manager to lead their service team. This is an exciting opportunity for a young, energetic hospitality professional with a big personality and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences. The role offers a salary of R25,000 - R28,000, with highly incentivised quarterly bonuses linked to performance and targets achieved.
Description
The Front of House Manager will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional service standards and a seamless guest experience. You will lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house team, fostering a professional and welcoming culture that reflects the restaurant's premium positioning.
Key responsibilities include staff scheduling, team development, performance management, guest relations, and driving sales through upselling and service excellence.
You will collaborate closely with management to achieve operational targets and maintain the restaurant's high-quality standards. Afrikaans language skills will be highly advantageous for this role.
We are seeking candidates who are service-driven, energetic, and comfortable in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. Only stable, referenceable candidates will be considered.
Minimum Requirements

• Proven experience in a Front of House or Restaurant Management role
• Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
• Energetic, personable, and service-focused
• Understanding of financial targets, upselling, and operational efficiency
• Afrikaans language skills advantageous
• No job hopping; fully referenceable
