to be the first impression of our restaurant.

Position Overview:

As the Hostess, you will be the face of Chard Grill & Wine Bar, welcoming each guest with a friendly smile and ensuring they have a smooth and enjoyable dining experience from the moment they arrive. You'll manage reservations, coordinate table seating, and work closely with the front-of-house team to maintain the flow of service.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests promptly and warmly as they arrive Manage reservations using our booking system and walk-in waitlist efficiently Escort guests to their tables, presenting menus and providing initial information Monitor dining room flow and communicate with servers and managers to optimize seating Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entrance area Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries in a professional manner Assist with to-go orders and support other team members as needed Uphold the ambiance and guest experience by ensuring all standards are met

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Comfortable using reservation or POS systems (training provided) Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
