Job Description
Commercial Manager Logistics / Freight Boksburg, Johannesburg Gauteng
To negotiate with service providers in order to provide the most cost effective and value adding service.
Minimum Requirements:
Matric, Logistics / Supply Chain or equivalent qualification an advantage.
Working knowledge of full Logistics Cost / Supply Chain, Operations Documentation and Cost Structures,
3-5 years’ Experience in Managing Service Provider Contracts
Knowledge of Fruit Logistics Industry
Responsibilities:
Negotiate rates with Shipping Lines, Negotiate and Manage Service Provider contracts
Commercial Administration, Preparation of Forecasts
Manage staff
Cold Store Planning & Negotiation and identify Charter opportunities
Manage Commercial Administration
