:

French Speaking Category Manager for Paints & Anti Corrosion Products (Logistics/Supply Chain)

Our client is a ship supplier company, with core business in Africa. Since 1959, they have been developing the African network with our subsidiaries (Gabon, Congo, Angola, South Africa, Mozambique, Namibia) and our partners. Their teams can achieve all requests for vessels operating in the area, with reactivity and reliability.

Job Type: On-site | Cape Town

Requirements

Fluent in both English and French (Portuguese or Italian would be an bonus)

Technical expertise on paints and anti-corrosion products

A currently valid FROSIO certification

Experience in international business development and sales

Experience working across Africa

Comfortable with computer tools (MS Office including Excel, Power BI)

Experience working with an ERP system

Experience within the Oil, Energy & Gas industry

Responsibilities

Increase turnover and improve margins for paints and anti-corrosion products department

Develop the portfolio of current customers and prospect new ones. Develop new markets and ranges

Meet customersxe2x80x99 needs and offer suitable products while optimizing margins

Monitor anti-corrosion business as a whole and report to the Business Unit manager

Lead the sales teams based in our African subsidiaries.

Provide the technical expertise they need.

Support the teams for their sales prospects and customer relations.

Set sales targets and support them to achieve expectations

Develop confidence with suppliers to have the ranges that our customers need

Implement a benchmark process with suppliers to check we have best-value-for-money ranges

Support suppliers to improve the quality of their products and services

Manage the contractual relationship with suppliers
