REPORTING TO MD JOB DETAILS PURPOSE To play crucial role in the efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods for our clients. Responsible for accurately estimating the costs associated with freight forwarding services, considering numerous factors such as transportation mode, shipping routes, customs duties, exchange rates and other relevant expenses. Managing competitive pricing, maintaining profitability, and providing reliable cost estimates to clients. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS ACTIVITIES Cost Estimation xe2x80xa2 Manage costs against shipping requirements by gathering all required information, analysing costs, and presenting the best solutions as and when required. xe2x80xa2 Present accurate and realistic costs by including all related input costs such as shipping rates, fuel charges, customs duties, exchange rates, profit margins etc. for all projects, within required deadlines. xe2x80xa2 Manage the accuracy of quotes by collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain up to date, accurate costs for different transport modes always. Strategy xe2x80xa2 Maintain relevance by staying informed about industry trends, market rates, changes in regulations and business strategy always. xe2x80xa2 Contribute to the business strategy by understanding the goals of the business and always aligning cost estimation practices. xe2x80xa2 Integrate business strategy into pricing models by collaborating with managment
