The purpose of the role is to oversee the forecasting, planning and accounting for the P&L of the business and support as the sales and marketing business partner.
The global manufacturer has over 10 000 employees, 1.2 Billion consumers and a total net profit of USB 1.6 Billion.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- CA(SA) or CIMA or ACCA
- 5 years commercial experience
- Lead the FP&A Analysts across the 3 markets for month end, quarterly and annual forecasting and results review.
- FP&A and/or Sales & Marketing experience FMCG Experience is an added advantage.
- Provide detailed analysis and commentary on cost center results.
- Budgeting and forecasting: Evaluating previous budgets, and expenditure to develop and implement future budgets.
- Work with Business Unit heads to build their annual budgets and forecasts.
- Provide detailed analysis and commentary on cost center results.
- Coordinate month end, quarterly and annual close of the business results vs the forecast and the annual targets.
- Monitor BTL and ATL spends and overhead costs.
- Prepare business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions.
- Work closely with the leadership team to formulate the business's medium to long term financial and strategic plan.
- Profit and loss management: Analyze the performance and propose action plans to improve profitability and cash generation as well as corrective action plans as needed.
