The SGB seeks the services of a Foundation Phase Educator (SGB Fixed-Term Contract)

Boundary Primary School, in collaboration with Common Good (Collaboration: School Operating Partner), is seeking a passionate and dedicated Foundation Phase Educator committed to nurturing young learners in a supportive, stimulating and developmentally appropriate environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of early childhood education and a commitment to fostering holistic learner development--academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities:

Teach the Foundation Phase curriculum

Plan lessons, assess learner progress, and complete required reports (All curriculum requirements)

Create a positive and supportive classroom environment (Effectively manage learners in your care)

Support learners' academic, social, and emotional development

Participate in school and extra-/co-curricular activities

Demonstrate willingness to be mentored or coached

Engage actively in school ethos and development programmes

Requirements:

Foundation Phase teaching qualification - Gr 1 - 3

SACE certificate / registration

A minimum of 3 years teaching experience is advantageous

Strong communication and organisational skills

Genuine passion for early childhood education
