Foundation Phase Teacher - Grade 2

The school is seeking an English Home Language teacher and experience in teaching another subject such as Life Skills.

This is an Independent School in Tsomo, Eastern Cape. The individual must have extensive knowledge of and experience in teaching and strong classroom management skills. Applicants must include a fully detailed CV and all qualifications required. The candidate will be part of a team of dedicated staff that prioritises the holistic growth of each child through Christian ethics and morals, with quality sound teaching, and through a variety of co and extra curricular activities. This is a school that is rooted in its community and it's development at heart through education. The successful candidate will be a member of this team.

Candidates should:

- Have Extensive knowledge of CAPS and ICT integrated learning

- A passion for children and developing young minds

- Have experience in teaching various grades within the phase

- Be Fluent in English

- Have SACE/SAQA permits

- have great classroom management skills

- Be experienced in ICT integrated learning, with knowledge and use of coding and robotics an added advantage

- Have experience in managing sports, music or any other co-curricular activities or clubs

The candidate should also possess the following qualities:

- Professionalism and integrity before all stakeholders

- Be driven and innovative in teaching and management

- Be prepared to work under pressure

- Be a good team player willing to go the extra mile

- Be able to work under minimum supervision - be an Independent person

-Have good interpersonal skills
