Job Summary Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CA(SA) People Lead to join our dynamic organization. As the People Lead, you will play a crucial role in managing and developing our talented team of CA(SA) professionals.

The day-to-day job role will consist of leading a dynamic team, that is responsible for preparing & submitting Foreign VAT refund claims. This is an office-based role. The role involves leading a team of 20 + people, ensuring all daily tasks are met within the team, coaching leaders, aligning the team to a vision, keeping the team inspired and excited, whilst at the same time ensuring daily goals are achieved consistently. Attention to detail is key to ensure that each claim is monitored and followed through timeously to submission. There are strict & demanding deadlines where the team needs a very strong leader.
Someone who loves people, brings a very high energy, and is obsessed with delivery will be perfect for the role.

People:

Leading the FV Submissions Managers & Team Leaders
Coaching of FV Submissions managers & leaders, including performance reviews, daily activity tracking & daily on-the-job feedback & training
Daily involvement in the management of the FV claims assessors and QC associates.
Daily monitoring of stock & submissions
Weekly reporting to Head of Foreign VAT during non-deadline periods
Daily reporting to Head of Foreign VAT during deadline periods
Deadline management
Resource planning
Operational claim detail management
Working with the FV Submissions Technical Lead on ensuring all staff are adequately trained.
Branch liaison for operational queries

System related duties:

Work with IT on building more efficient flows
Testing of new deployments
Investigating why errors appear in the Claims/QC/Logistics flows

Qualifications:

CA(SA)
5+ years working experience.
3+ years' experience in leadership positions
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially excel)
No prior experience with Foreign VAT is required as all training is provided.
