Supreme Processing has an opportunity available for a Food Technologist in the New Product Development to play a vital role in creating innovative chicken products that meet the highest standards of quality and taste. Working closely with the Lead Food Technologist, you will contribute to the development of new products, optimize existing formulations, and ensure the continuous improvement of our poultry product line.

Minimum Requirements

Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field qualification (Diploma or degree) 2-3 years of experience in product development within the food industry Computer Literate Knowledge in Poultry Processing Technology Understanding of different processing methods, including slaughtering, evisceration, and deboning. Legislations related to Poultry and manufacturing practises. Effective Communication Skills. Planning and organizational skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Lead Food Technologist to formulate and optimize chicken product recipes. Conduct trials and experiments to achieve desired taste, texture, and nutritional profiles. Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures for new and existing products. Conduct regular sensory evaluations and quality assessments Maintain accurate and detailed records of product formulations, processes, and test results Generate reports summarizing findings and recommendations. Work closely with the production, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless integration of new products into the manufacturing process and market launch. Collaborate with the lead food technologist to address feedback and make necessary adjustments. Assist in the identification and sourcing of quality ingredients for product development Stay informed about ingredient trends and market availability Ensure that all new products adhere to local, state, and federal food safety regulations. * Collaborate with regulatory affairs teams to obtain necessary certifications.
