Job Description
Join a leading FMCG team as a Food Technologist in the Western Cape!
In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the NPD team, assisting with new product launches, and managing product ranges through quality control processes. You will play a key role in ensuring brand integrity and food safety.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Food Technologist seeking growth and a long-term career in food science. You will gain hands-on experience with a wide variety of food products while contributing to a fast-paced environment. Your expertise in food technology and technical processes will be essential when working with both international and local supply bases, as well as customers.
To succeed in this role, you should have a diploma or degree in Food Technology or Food Science, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. A strong understanding of the retail industry, FMCG technical processes, and South African labelling legislation is essential. Proficiency in MS Office, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are also required.
