A degree or diploma in Food Science, Quality Control, or a related food industry discipline.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role within a food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the full implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of the Food Safety and Quality Assurance Management System.
Ensure all food safety and quality programs are effectively communicated, and facilitate training and engagement across all levels of staff and management.
Guarantee compliance with all relevant food safety legislation and standards, ensuring that products are consistently safe, legal, and of high quality.
Lead the execution and ongoing management of the companys Health and Safety policy.
Manage all aspects of the Quality Control function, including supervision and development of the Quality Control and Cleaning teams.
Promote a culture of quality, safety, and accountability throughout the organization.
Required Skills:
Strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate, mentor, and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Strong problem-solving abilities and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
