A multi national Food Flavor and Spice Sales Coordinator has an opening for a Food flavor and spice Sales Coordinator who's core duties of this role revolve around coordination, administration, and customer service: primarily provides administrative and operational support to the sales team, acting as a crucial link between sales representatives, internal departments, and the customers in the specialized food ingredients industry. The role focuses on ensuring efficient sales processes, order accuracy, and excellent customer service related to flavor and spice products.
Sales Administration & Support
Previous work experience in the food, flavor industry an essential recruitment.
Order Processing: Handle the end-to-end processing of sales orders for flavors and spices, ensuring accuracy in pricing, product codes, discounts, and customer specifications.
Documentation: Prepare, manage, and file essential sales documents, including quotes, proposals, contracts, and sales reports. * Reporting: Assist in generating sales reports, tracking performance metrics, and analyzing sales data to identify trends and support strategic planning.
Customer & Team Communication
Client Liaison: Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding product availability, order status, delivery timelines, and pricing.
Internal Coordination: Facilitate smooth communication and workflow between the sales team and other departments, such as R&D/Applications (for sample requests), Logistics/Supply Chain (for delivery), and Finance (for invoicing/accounts receivable).
Sample Coordination: Manage the process of sending flavor and spice samples to customers or for internal testing, tracking their delivery and coordinating feedback.
Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer issues, complaints, and unforeseen delays in orders or delivery with prompt and professional solutions.
Product & Industry Specific Duties
Product Knowledge: Maintain a foundational understanding of the company's flavor and spice portfolio, including basic technical data, applications, and regulatory information to effectively communicate with customers and the sales team.
Sales Collateral: Assist in preparing product presentations and pitch decks, often requiring coordination with the marketing and R&D teams to gather technical and application-specific content.
Compliance: Ensure all sales and order processes adhere to relevant food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
