Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Food & Beverage Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our food and beverage departments, ensuring an exceptional dining experience and operational efficiency across all outlets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all food and beverage operations, ensuring top-quality service and guest satisfaction.
- Manage staff performance, scheduling, and workflow to maintain smooth operations.
- Handle budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to ensure profitability.
- Collaborate with chefs and management on menu planning, product sourcing, and pricing strategies.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
- Monitor and evaluate customer feedback, implementing improvements where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations.
- Provide training and leadership to foster a motivated and service-driven team.
- Utilize and manage operations through the Micros system effectively.
- Grade 12 / Matric (essential).
- Hospitality Management Diploma or equivalent qualification (preferred).
- Minimum 35 years experience as an F&B Manager or Assistant F&B Manager in a hotel or restaurant environment.
- Proven experience with the Micros system (required).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent financial acumen with experience in budgeting and stock control.
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage trends, service standards, and guest relations.
- A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
