What were looking for
South African citizen with a valid ID (non-negotiable)
At least 2 years recent experience as a host or waitron in a hotel or upmarket restaurant
No employment gaps longer than 5 months unless valid reasons are provided
Matric certificate (Grade 12)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a welcoming, professional demeanour
Strong guest relations skills, including handling enquiries and reservations
Professional appearance, punctuality, and reliability
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
A team player with a strong focus on guest service
What youll do
Welcome and seat guests with warmth and confidence, ensuring smooth table rotation
Manage reservations and coordinate seating plans to keep service flowing
Provide menus, introduce specials, and support the waitron team where needed
Handle guest queries, requests, and feedback with care and professionalism
Maintain a polished host stand and uphold presentation standards in the dining area
Assist colleagues during busy periods to ensure seamless service
Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and hotel service standards
