Fleet Supervisor - JhbHigh school diploma or equivalentBachelorxe2x80x99s degree in business administration, logistics, or related field5+ years experience in fleet management or transportationProficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systemsProven experience in fleet management, transportation, or similar roleWorking knowledge of fleet maintenance software programsExcellent organizational and time-management skillsOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsStrong leadership qualities and ability to motivate team membersMaintain a safe and clean work environment by enforcing company policies and proceduresMonitor and coach drivers on their performance, providing feedback and guidance to improve safety and efficiencyInvestigate and document accidents and incidents, working with insurance providers as neededSchedule and dispatch vehicles and drivers using routing software, taking into account customer needs and driver availabilityCoordinate repairs and maintenance for the fleet of vehicles, ensuring that they are kept in good working orderKeep accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance costsWork with vendors to purchase new vehicles and negotiate lease terms for leased vehiclesManage the budget for the fleet department, keeping costs under controlStay up-to-date on DOT regulations and ensure that the fleet is in complianceTrain new drivers on company policies and proceduresHire and train new staff as neededPerform other duties as assignedJob Type: ContractContract length: 3 monthsAbility to commute/relocate:Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
