Job Description

Fleet Monitoring Controller is responsible for monitoring vehicle movements in real time, ensuring driver compliance, supporting daily transport operations, and reporting on fleet performance. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly to operational issues within a transport or fleet-intensive environment.

Responsibilities

Monitor and review in-cab Drive Cam footage to identify risks or unsafe driving behaviours. Provide regular feedback to the fleet controller and conducked coaching to the drivers based on Drive Cam data. Investigate incidents reported by Fleet Camera systems and prepare detailed reports for management. Ensure compliance with company safety policies, road traffic regulations, and transport laws. Maintain accurate records of camera events events, incidents, and follow-up actions. Collaborate with the fleet management and HR teams to support disciplinary actions, training, or development plans for drivers. Generate regular reports on fleet safety performance, trends, and areas for improvement. Stay updated on transport regulations, safety standards, and fleet camara technology .
Requirements

Grade 12 or equivalent. Minimum 2-3 years' experience in transport, fleet operations, or safety monitoring. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with fleet management software and tracking systems (Mix Telematics,LiveVision) Knowledge of transport and safety regulations. Strong analytical, investigative, and reporting skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coaching and feedback. Proficiency in computer systems and Drive Cam or fleet management software. Ability to remain objective and handle sensitive information confidentially.
