Fleet Coordinator

We are a fast-paced and growing car rental company looking for a strong, hardworking, and detail-oriented Fleet Coordinator to join our dynamic team. If you thrive in a fast-moving environment, have excellent organizational skills, and are looking for growth, this might be the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor, manage, and maintain all fleet vehicles, ensuring they are safe, roadworthy, and rentable at all times. Schedule and oversee repairs, services, maintenance, and license renewals. Handle vehicle tracking: liaise with the tracking company, ensure vehicle safety, and present reports to management. Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations. Perform and manage record keeping, registrations, insurance, and tracker documentation for new and existing vehicles. Negotiate with suppliers and resolve disputes. Handle customer fleet queries and general administration. Assist with policy changes, training new employees, and ensuring accurate reporting. Assist with opening and closing the office. Be available for emergency on-call duties. Perform ad-hoc fleet-related duties as requested by management.
Requirements:

5+ years' experience in a Fleet Coordinator / Fleet Manager role. Own vehicle and valid driver's license. Smart, professional appearance with high standards of hygiene. Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze data effectively. Confident in handling unexpected situations - quick thinker, adaptable, and solution-driven. Solid knowledge of vehicles and excellent customer service skills. Proficient in MS Office with intermediate computer skills. Ambitious, innovative, and able to thrive under pressure.

Location: Bedfordview Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm Salary: Up to R17,000 gross
