Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Local Fleet Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our fleet, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

-Coordinate and manage fleet operations to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness.

- Monitor vehicle performance, schedules, and maintenance to minimize downtime.

- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to fleet operations.

- Prepare and analyze reports regarding fleet performance metrics.

- Collaborate with drivers and other staff to uphold safety standards and protocols.

- Assist in budget preparation and cost control for fleet operations.

- Provide training for drivers on safe and efficient driving practices.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in fleet management or a similar role.

- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
