Windscreen Distributors has 13 branches across South Africa, and we are the sole importer and distributor of Fuyao Automotive Glass in Southern Africa.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Fleet Manager at Windscreen Distributors (Pty) Ltd located in Spartan. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to fleet management, ensuring the efficient and timely transport of goods, coordinating vehicle maintenance, and optimizing routes for delivery vehicles.
Skills required
Analytical Skills, Finance, and Communication skills Supply Chain Management and Operations Management skills Experience in fleet management and logistics Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Excellent organizational and time management skills Proficiency in relevant software and tools, we use Cartrack Previous history in paying fines Route planning and optimization Fuel reports and great Excel skills Ability to run a fleet of 50 vehicles Oversee the fleet controller Ability to work under pressure Work with our branches across the country Ensure that we comply with SA rules when it comes to the vehicles Assessment of our drivers Ensuring that the fleet is well maintained Contactable references
